S J Morris is a London-based author who specializes in young adult fantasy fiction. A qualified social worker with over twelve years of experience, she works for a local authority and finds joy in spending quiet evenings at home, where she dedicates her spare time to writing. She is also a proud mother to a son, with whom she cherishes precious moments.

 

Her writing journey began in childhood, fuelled by a love for storytelling and reading. In 2018, she took a bold step forward by publishing her first children’s picture book, an experience that was both exhilarating and transformative. Since then, she has embarked on an exciting adventure into the world of young adult literature, launching a six-book series, The Academy for Witches and Wizards, which she started in early 2020. Currently, she is putting the finishing touches on the final instalment of the series.
